Club Rules

1. INTOXICATION OR THE USE OF ALCOHOL IS PROHIBITED ON CLUB PROPERTY
   
2. No shooting before 10:00 AM Tuesday – Saturday AND no shooting Sunday or Monday.
   
3. No shooting after official sunset. A sunset calendar is posted at the range.
   
4. Any person who acts in a hazardous manner in any way on club property may be ordered off the grounds by any officer, director or person as designated
   
5. In the interest of safety , there will be no collecting of spent shells forward of the yellow firing line while the range is hot.
   
6. All rounds fires must be logged into the Lead Management Program logbook
   
7. NO FIREARMS SHALL BE LOADED EXCEPT ON THE FIRING LINE OR READY TO FIRE ON THE TRAP RANGE
   
8. Long Guns are NOT to be fired or carried forward of the yellow firing line . Unload and rack your weapons when you are changing targets.
   
9. When not in use, all firearms shall be racked or carried with actions open.
   
10. No person shall go forward of the firing line unless ALL actions are open, and NO firearms are pointed down range and when permission has been granted by the range officer in charge or ALL other shooters on the range.
    
11. For safety sake, even if you are the only shooter at the range , when going downrange ALWAYS place a traffic cone in the center of the range, 20 yards out front of the yellow firing line.
    
12. SHOOTING AT ANYTHING OTHER THAN PAPER OR PRE-APPROVED TARGETS ON THE RIFLE AND PISTOL RANGE IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
    
13. EXCESSIVE RAPID FIRE IS NOT ALLOWED. REASONABLE CONTROLLED BURST OF THREE ROUNDS WITH A 10 SECOND BREAK IS PERMISSIBLE.
    
14. Neither long guns nor pistols are allowed on the Archery or Trap Field nor Archery on the Rifle or Trap Field.
    
15. All firearms when not in use shall be placed in the owners empty with actions open and cased when possible.
    
16. SMOKING IS PROHIBITED EXCEPT AT DESIGNATED LOCATIONS.
    
17. UPON ENTERING OR LEAVING THE PROPERTY CLOSE THE GATE AND LOCK IT! (Except for sanctioned events).
    
18. All trash shall be deposited in the appropriate containers provided for that purpose.
    
19. Regarding nonpublic events: A guest may only use the range when accompanied by a member in good standing, and no more than twice a year, or when special permission is granted by the Board. Persons coming to the range more than twice should become members.

VIOLATION OF ANY OF THESE RULES BY ANY INDIVIDUAL WILL BE SUFFICIENT CAUSE FOR IMMEDIATE DISMISSAL FROM THE CLUB AND SAID INDIVIDUAL WILL BE BANNED FROM THE GROUNDS.
